Hi, I’m Julian.

I am an engineer, manager, and leader who enjoys learning, exploring ideas, and understanding how things connect together. Over the years I have worked across electronics design, embedded software, FPGA development, systems engineering, project management, and programme management. Alongside engineering, I am also deeply interested in psychology, philosophy, personal development, learning systems, and curiosity-driven exploration.

Around 2024, while researching knowledge management systems such as Zettelkasten and “digital brains”, I discovered the idea of a digital garden. Although I had already developed my own private system for managing knowledge, the idea of publicly sharing learning and evolving ideas appealed to me. This site is an experiment in doing exactly that.

I want this space to feel unfinished in the best possible way, organic, evolving, and open to change as ideas grow and connect over time.
