Progressive summarisation
Progressive summarisation is the process of repeatedly refining and condensing notes to make them easier to review and understand over time. Instead of keeping long, dense notes, you gradually extract the most important ideas into shorter summaries, making the information more accessible and reusable. This approach can be especially useful when writing emails or revisiting study material, as the key ideas are already distilled into concise insights. A final summary might even be reduced to a single sentence that can be placed on a tag or index page for quick reference and retrieval.
