Understanding customer jobs helps businesses focus on what truly matters to their target audience.
2. Pains
Pains are the obstacles, frustrations, risks, or negative experiences customers encounter when trying to complete their jobs. Gains represent the benefits, outcomes, or positive results customers desire or expect. These can include improved performance, convenience, cost savings, satisfaction, or unexpected advantages. Understanding gains helps businesses create offerings that exceed customer expectations and deliver meaningful value.
